Cindy is happily a familiar face of Torrance Theatre Co., having been in 14 shows since first stepping on the James Armstrong stage in 2003. Favorite roles in Torrance include Sr. Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, Clelia Walgrave in The Nerd, Effy in Spitfire Grill, and Jack's Mother in Into the Woods. Cindy has also performed at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, Redondo Beach Playhouse, Hermosa Beach Playhouse and Cypress College. Cindy's 30+ years of performing include television, commercials, voice-over and stand-up. She and her husband Perry have performed in murder mysteries with 3M Productions and Brain Brew Entertainment the past few years all through-out the South Bay and Solvang. Training includes improvisation with L.A.'s famed Groundlings, commercial workshops with Daphne Kirby and acting with Dee Wallace Stone and Wendell Burton. When not performing, Cindy teaches acting and improv at StarLight Productions' studios and is the resident director/choreographer at Calle Mayor Middle School. In her spare time, she also loves her job as Entertainment Coordinator for the American Cancer Society's South Bay's Annual Relay For Life event. Cindy and her family were the grateful recipients of the City of Torrance's Excellence in Arts Award for Drama in 2007.
