Actress
An actress of film, television and stage, Ann’s career spans over 25 years. Ann also writes and performs her own stand-up comedy, most noted for her flamboyant character, “Harriet of Beverly Hills” as well as “Momedy.” Film critics reviewed her as a “hyper-versatile performer” impressed by her portrayal of Felice Quick, a former CIA agent with a multiple personality disorder, in the feature film Rogues.
In addition to traditional theatre, Ann has performed with children’s theatre companies, improv troupes, an anti-violence educational theater company and has can be seen in numerous television shows, feature films and national commercials. Recently she had a role in an independent feature film, In Passing, in which her daughter, Alicia, held the starring role. Since her son, Andy, does stunt work in commercials, she is often seen “hanging” around the set with him too.
This is Ann’s first appearance with the Torrance Theatre Company. |
